Anil Kumar is the CEO and Managing Director of IMaCS Virtus Global Partners, a US-India cross border strategic and transaction advisory firm based in New York with eight offices in India. He brings over 15 years of experience advising mid to large size companies with their global growth and investment strategy. He specializes in cross border mergers and acquisition advisory and management consulting.
At IMaCS Virtus Global Partners, Mr. Kumar has led significant US-India cross border transactions and advisory engagements across various industry sectors such as retail, technology, manufacturing and private equity. Prior to this, he was a Director with Alvarez & Marsal, a turnaround and restructuring firm where he implemented restructuring services for energy and retail clients. Before Alvarez and Marsal, Mr. Kumar was a Senior Manager with KPMG where he led merger integration engagements for media and finance companies.
Mr. Kumar is a frequent guest lecturer at Columbia Business School and has written op-ed columns for The Wall Street Journal on India’s economic growth. He speaks frequently at conferences and has been quoted in leading publications. Mr. Kumar received his Bachelors degree from BIT Mesra, India and his MBA from Columbia Business School. |
