Anil Kumar is the Managing Director of IMaCS Virtus Global Partners. Mr. Kumar brings over 14 years of experience advising mid to large size companies with their growth and investment strategy. He specializes in cross border mergers and acquisition advisory, investment banking and management consulting.
At IMaCS Virtus Global Partners, Mr. Kumar led significant US-India cross border transactions across various industry sectors such as retail, technology, manufacturing and private equity. Prior to this, he was a Director with Alvarez & Marsal, a turnaround and restructuring firm where he implemented restructuring services for energy and retail clients. Before Alvarez and Marsal, Mr. Kumar was a Senior Manager with KPMG where he led merger integration engagements for media and finance companies.
Mr. Kumar is a frequent speaker on the topic of India's position in the global economy at conferences and Columbia Business School. He is a member of the US India Business Council in Washington and a charter member at TiE, New York. Mr. Kumar holds an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School and a Bachelors degree in Engineering from BIT Mesra, India. |
