Harish Kamath leads the Transport practice at IMaCS and brings over 15 years of experience advising private and public companies with a focus on shipping, roads, railways and urban infrastructure. He specializes in infrastructure bid advisory, project management, traffic modeling, engineering study, due diligence, risk assessment and capital restructuring in the infrastructure sector.
Mr. Kamath key experiences include bid advisory for a container terminal at Ennore port; bid advisory for deep draft iron ore & coal berths at Paradip port; traffic modeling, financial analysis, cost validation, pre-tender engineering services, and bid advisory for a number of road projects ; assessment of transportation infrastructure and hinterland logistics for an integrated transport plan for Mumbai port cluster, due diligence and risk assessment of Kutch railway project , Techno-economic feasibility study for a greenfield port at Mundra and a minor Port in Cuddalore (Tamil Nadu) and project appraisal of Pipavav Railway Corporation Ltd. project for Container Train Operation on Indian Railways & Inland Container Depot.
Prior to IMaCS, Mr. Kamath worked at Tata Economic Consultancy Services. He obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology (India) and a post graduate diploma in Management from T.A.Pai Management Institute, Manipal (India) with specialization in Finance and Marketing. |
