Bhaskar Som brings over 15 years experience leading management consulting and financial advisory engagements with a focus on corporate advisory, valuation, foreign exchange management, credit rating, strategy formulation, and risk management.
Mr. Som has significant experience across several practice areas, and has been involved in designing risk management strategies for a number of banks in India and abroad, developing frameworks to evaluate country competitiveness, designing strategy and policy recommendations, valuation and corporate restructuring. Mr. Som’s consulting client profile covers a wide range of organizations such as state and central government, industry associations, multinationals institutions, public sector corporations and leading private sector companies.
Prior to IMaCS, Mr. Som worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers leading their Oracle Strategic Enterprise Management practice. He holds an MBA from Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta with a specialization in Finance and Operational Research and a Bachelor degree in Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Madras. |
